e500 Sodium Carbonates

Food additive with stabilizing, acidity regulation, loosening (growing), anti-caking and base role, obtained from salt or sea water. It comes in the form of E 500(i) – sodium carbonate, E 500(ii) – sodium hydrogen carbonate (sodium bicarbonate) or E 500(iii) – sodium sesquicarbonate form. It is added in the quantities on the recipes in dairy products, cheese, milk desserts, ice cream, emulsified fat spreads, products from vegetables, fruits, meat, fish, eggs, cereal, in pasta, doughs, pastry, confectionery and bakery products, sauces, salads, food supplements, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages etc.
